JOB PURPOSE:
The Financial Assistance Coordinator will assist in the creation, maintenance and dissemination of information related to services to clients and program outcomes. This includes data input, data quality, building reports, user support, and analysis of client information updated into the electronic record. This position also provides support to Program teams by troubleshooting application and data problems as well as fulfilling data requests. To also assist in processing financial assistance payments for clients.
This position is funded through a grant, and continued employment is contingent upon ongoing grant funding.
Qualifications
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collect, clean, and analyze large data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Develop and maintain reports and dashboards that provide insights and recommendations to support business decisions.
- Work with cross-functional teams to identify areas of opportunity for data analysis and insights.
- Identify and interpret key performance metrics and provide recommendations for improving business performance.
- Create and maintain data models to support forecasting and business planning.
- Develop and implement processes to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity.
- Collaborate with IT teams to design, develop, and maintain databases and data systems.
- Present data insights and recommendations to stakeholders and executives.
- Stay up to date with emerging data analysis tools, techniques, and technologies.
- Support and serve as a back up to the FAC position.
- Maintain ongoing communication with Program Director and Regional Director
- Coordinate and process Temporary Financial Assistance payments to third party providers for approved expenses as part of the client’s service plan; Confirm receipt of payments; and submit TFA on a weekly basis.
- Maintain and upkeep client records with recorded financial assistance via cloud base software for clients.
- Other duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree preferred not required
EXPERIENCE: 2 years of experience in Data Analysis, and/or Financial Analysis and/or Financial Coordinator. Experience in data analysis, reporting, and visualization required. Experience with programming languages or experience as a case manager preferred.
ATTENDANCE: Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance at such level as is determined in the employer’s sole discretion.
LICENSES: Driver’s License with clear record
VEHICLE: Must have daily use of a vehicle without prior notice
OTHER: Financial Assistance Coordinator must be 21 years or older. Must be available and willing to travel. Must not pose a direct threat or significant risk of substantial harm to the safety or health of himself/herself or others.
