What are the responsibilities and job description for the PICU Registered Nurse (RN) position at Endeavor?
801 S. Washington St. Naperville, IL 60540 (359 beds, Level II Trauma)
PICU- Night Shift: FT, 36 hrs/wk, 7:00pm - 7:00am
Holiday/Weekend Requirement:
- Weekends: Every third weekend
- Holidays: Assigned to a rotating Holiday Track
Must Haves:
- License: IL RN license
- Certification: CPR/BLS from American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- Experience: Must have 2 year of PICU RN Experience with an inpatient hospital.
- Education: Associates Degree or higher in Nursing.
*If Associates Degree in Nursing is the highest degree held, must graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing within five years of position start date
About the Unit:
- Beds: 16
- Patient Population: Neonate and up 17 years of age;
- Common Diagnoses: Asthma, new onset diabetes, behavioral health patients, eating disorders
- Average # of Admits per day: 2 - 4
- Nurse to Patient Ratio: 1:1, 1:2, 1:3, 1:4
