• Position: Unit Secretary, Ortho/Spine- 5EW
• Location: Skokie Hospital
• Full Time/Part Time: Part Time, Day and PM Shift (11am-11pm, 11am -7pm, 3-11 pm - 8 or 12hr shifts , Rotating Weekends
• Hours: 24

What You Will Do

• Coordinate non-clinical duties of the nursing unit
• Enter patient charges in computer
• Coordinate patient flow of admissions and discharges
• Order supplies
• Customer service to patients, families, nurses, physicians and other support departments
• Answer phones and relay messages as appropriate
• Proactively identifies need for service recovery and follow up of resolution
  
  

What You Will Need

• License: N/A
• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Certification: N/A
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of work experience required or 1 year of college and 1 year of work experience required
• Skills: Proficiency with word processing and computer skills required
