Hourly Pay Range

$40.45 - $62.70 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights

• Location: Elmhurst, IL
• Full Time: 36 hours/ week
• Hours: Days 7am – 7:30pm; rotating weekends & rotating holidays
  
  

What You Will Do

• As an RN Lactation Consultant, you will play a vital role in promoting and supporting breastfeeding among new mothers and ensuring the optimal nutrition and health of newborns in our Neonatal Unit. You will work collaboratively with healthcare teams to provide lactation education, assessment, and assistance to mothers and families, ensuring a positive breastfeeding experience.
  
  

What You Will Need

• Current State of Illinois RN Professional licensure and IBCLC (International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners). If IBCLC certification pending, must obtain certification within one year of hire.
• Current BLS CPR certification issued either by American Heart Association
• Minimum two years of previous nursery and postpartum experience preferred
