Position Highlights
- Position: Phlebotomist – Inpatient
- Location: Elmhurst Hospital 155 E Brush Hill Road Elmhurst, IL
- FTE: 0.5 FTE PART -TIME (Approx. 20 hrs/week)
- Hours: 4am-8am Monday through Friday; 5am-1:30pm every other weekend and holiday rotations
- Under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures prepares, collects, logs and labels specimens for testing.
- Performs pre-analytical processing/ordering of specimens arriving in the lab.
- Registers patient information and orders laboratory tests in the computer system.
- Arranges specimens for further processing by Laboratory staff.
- High School Diploma/GED or higher
- Completion of a phlebotomy training program including a minimum of 100 clinical training hours
- Premium pay such as shift, on call, holiday and more based on an employee’s job (For eligible positions)
