Hourly Pay Range
$33.35 - $51.69 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.
Position Highlights
Education — Associates in Applied Science degree is required. Course work or curriculum of previous experience should include: ultrasounds physics, anatomy and physiology, electrocardiography, cardiovascular pathophysiology, cardiovascular hemodynamic principles, cardiac history-taking, key aspects of cardiorespiratory physical diagnosis.
Experience — At least 6 months in 2-D and M-Mode echocardiography, preferred.
Skills — The ability to efficiently obtain quality images of the heart and the correct views to help the interpreting physician diagnose the problem.
Qualitative/quantitative production standards — Accuracy is of critical importance in this position. Techniques and skills adequate to meet physicians' standards for quality of work and reliability of techniques.
Professional Membership - Membership in an echocardiography society or association is required.
License/Certification

- Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30pm, Rotating Weekend & Holidays

- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation certification required.
- Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) license through either ARDMS as Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) within 2 years of start date.
