HOSPITAL MEDICINCE: Advanced Practice Provider (APP)
Position Highlights
- Position: Advanced Practice Provider (APN/PA) – Division of Hospital Medicine
- Location: Swedish and NorthShore Hospital, Chicago, IL
- Full Time/Part Time: Per Diem
- Hours:
- Required Travel: n/a
- Pay: $65 per hour
What You Will Need
- License: Advanced Practice Licensure (APN) or Physician Assistant Licensure (PA) in the State of IL required; Federal DEA and Illinois Controlled Substance License required
- Certification: BLS/CPR certification required
- Experience: Prior APN/PA experience in Adult Medicine, ER, Internal Medicine, or Hospitalist Medicine preferred.
- Provide comprehensive health assessments, differential diagnosis, and prescribe treatments under the protocol in the direct management of acute and chronic illness and disease.
- Provide patient education to promote wellness and prevent illness and injury for individuals, families, and communities.
- Work autonomously and in interdisciplinary teams
- Performs other duties as assigned or requested.
