We are seeking a dedicated Patient Care Coordinator to join our healthcare team. Duties
- Greet and assist patients upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming environment
- Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments efficiently
- Collect and verify patient information and insurance details
- Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with privacy regulations
- Communicate effectively with patients regarding treatment plans and follow-up care
- Coordinate with medical staff to ensure timely patient flow and service delivery
- Handle phone inquiries, respond to patient questions, and provide general administrative support
- Assist with billing procedures and insurance processing as needed
- Ensure the clinic remains organized, clean, and compliant with health standards
Experience
- Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting is preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology is highly desirable
- Experience providing medical administrative support or office experience is beneficial
- Dental office experience is a plus but not required
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care are necessary
