Skilled nursing housekeeper

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Skilled Nursing Housekeeper to join our healthcare team. Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of resident rooms, common areas, hallways, and administrative spaces using residential and commercial cleaning techniques.
• Ensure all surfaces, floors, and furnishings are sanitized according to health standards, including floor care and carpet cleaning.
• Manage laundry duties efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens and resident clothing.
• Maintain high standards of sanitation by disinfecting bathrooms, kitchens, and other high-touch areas regularly.
• Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to resident requests for assistance with housekeeping needs.
• Execute janitorial tasks such as trash removal, dusting, sweeping, mopping, and detailed cleaning of specialized areas like kitchens and bathrooms.
• Support housekeeping management by assisting in inventory control of cleaning supplies and equipment maintenance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in residential cleaning, custodial work, or commercial cleaning environments.
• Knowledge of floor care techniques including carpet cleaning and proper sanitation procedures.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with residents and staff.
• Experience with laundry operations and managing linens in a healthcare setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with janitorial equipment and cleaning chemicals used in healthcare or hotel environments.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and operating cleaning machinery safely.
