Encore Vision will provide on-the-job training for all essential job functions over the course of employment.
Essential job functions for Optical production worker (entry level):
- Operating surfacing or finishing equipment which includes loading and unloading lenses from various machines.
- Cleaning and inspecting eyewear for quality and accuracy prior to shipping or coating processes.
- Maintain safe and clean working conditions in the lab.
- Continually work on improving production techniques in order to eliminate errors and minimize breakage.
- Pull lenses for customer order, Order lenses to fulfill customers’ orders, maintain lens stock levels
- Maintain a professional and positive attitude towards all customers and fellow employees.
- Data Entry, verifying orders, talking with customers on the phone
- Inventory control
- Optical experience preferred
Salary is starting at DOE
Must have reliable transportation, we are not on a bus route
Abilities required:
- Good dexterity
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and standing for long periods of time
- Ability to multitask, work quickly, and efficiently
- Basic computer skills
