Job Description
We are seeking an Agilist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a key part in guiding Agile Squads toward continuous improvement, fostering self-organization, and delivering high-value business outcomes through effective Agile and Scrum practices. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment, engagement, and growth in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Coach and support Agile teams, ensuring alignment with Agile and Scrum values, principles, and practices.
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, Retrospective, and Backlog Refinement) to promote continuous learning and improvement.
- Guide Product Owners and Development Teams in effective Product Backlog management and value delivery.
- Build a trusting, collaborative environment where issues can be openly discussed and resolved.
- Identify, assess, and help remove impediments to team performance, escalating as necessary.
- Coach team members and organizational stakeholders in Agile thinking, servant leadership, and continuous delivery practices.
- Leverage metrics, feedback loops, and Agile data to help teams inspect, adapt, and improve performance.
- Promote team self-organization, cross-functionality, and strong team dynamics through mentoring and facilitation.
- Encourage innovation, experimentation, and a growth mindset within Agile teams.
- Act as a change agent and Agile ambassador across the organization.
Required Qualifications:
- 5 years of full-time business experience, including 3 years in Scrum or Agile roles.
- Strong oral and written communication skills with experience presenting, teaching, and facilitating.
- Demonstrated ability to coach individuals and teams, resolve conflicts, and support Agile maturity.
- Proven ability to build high-performing teams and foster continuous improvement.
- Solid understanding of Agile and Scrum frameworks and key practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
