PRIMARY FUNCTION
Greet all members and potential clients. Assist with answering telephone, as well as general day- today operation of business.

RESPONSIBLE FOR
Member contracts, daily cleaning of equipment, member set-ups, as well as general merchandise sales.

SPECIAL DEMANDS
Possibility of heavy lifting (up to 25lbs). Responsibly for the general cleaning of the facility. Restocking drinks and other products.

QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION: High School Diploma or currently working on.
EXPERIENCE: Familiar with all workout equipment in facility. Customer Service experience helpful.

PRIMARY DUTIES
1. Answer phone calls regarding pricing and general information in a helpful manner.
2. Monitor check-ins, alerts for renewals and members notes/problems.
Fill out guest register correctly and promptly.
3. Be knowledgeable regarding pricing structures, and additional special package pricing.
4. Knowledge of how to completely fill out a member application, including marketing information.
5. Knowledge of how to perform credit card/bankdraft transactions.
6. Operation of ‘point of sale’ action in the Aphelion software program.
7. Ability to provide new members with scan cards.
8. Schedule and perform ‘set-up’ appointments.
9. Regular cleaning of equipment and fitness area.
10. Frequent walk-thru checks of the fitness and pool area to assess cleanliness.

FRONT DESK DUTIES
1. Be polite, smile and greet members and prospects.
2. Learn members’ names.
3. Answer telephone with a standard SportsFit greeting.
4. Take detailed messages from calls (this includes names, dates, and what the call is regarding).
5. Give tours of the facility in a friendly and helpful manner.
6. Know how to operate a copier in order to maintain schedules, hours, flyers, etc.
7. Keep front counter clean and free of clutter/personal items.
8. Knowledge of proper opening/closing procedures.
