Job Description
East Tulsa Aerospace company seeking an experienced brake operator (aerospace experience preferred)
The general purpose of the Brake Operator is to produce products using the Brake and Roll
Major Work Functions and Desired Outcomes
- Ability to read and understand blueprints
- Ability to read and use calipers and other measuring equipment
- Ability to set up tooling on a brake
- Understanding of sheet metal bending practices
The Brake Operator must be able to perform the following essential functions:
- Operate each of the brakes
- Perform tool setups
- Read blueprints
- Have a basic understanding of sheet metal bending
- Understanding brake operations
- Understanding roll operations
- Operate a shear
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Experience
- Competencies/Knowledge: Basic sheet metal bending skills
- Must be able to perform basic math
