We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support our Finance, Purchasing, and HR teams at our Seven Mile, Ohio facility. This role is ideal for an accounting professional who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and supporting operational teams in a growing company.

Key Responsibilities

Accounts Payable

●      Receive inventory into the accounting system

●      Enter and process vendor invoices

●      Process vendor payments (ACH, checks, and credit cards)

●      Process vendor credit applications

●      Collect and maintain vendor documentation including W-9s, Certificates of Insurance, and BWC certificates

●      Identify invoices subject to use tax

Purchasing Support

●      Assist with ordering monthly inventory

●      Track and monitor purchase orders (POs)

Accounting & Finance

●      Provide general accounting support to the Finance department

●      Assist with customer invoicing

●      Prepare monthly sales tax filings

●      Support month-end and year-end closing processes

●      Assist with accounting projects and process improvements

Qualifications

Education

●      Bachelor’s degree required within accounting or a closely related field.

●      Accounting or Finance degree preferred

Experience

●      Minimum 2 years accounting or bookkeeping experience

Skills

●      Strong attention to detail

●      Strong organizational and time management skills

●      Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines

●      Strong communication and collaboration skills

●      Problem-solving ability

Technical Skills

●      Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word

●      Experience with Google Workspace

●      Experience with accounting or ERP systems (Titan software experience a plus)
