Assistant Director of Maintenance

Encore at Parkside is currently hiring for an Assistant Director of Maintenance to support the maintenance director with the daily operations of the maintenance department in a skilled nursing facility

Duties include supervising maintenance staff, work assisting with preventive maintenance programs, Life safety systems, responding to facility issues, coordinating with vendors, maintaining records and compliance with facility policies

and regulations. The role serves as the maintenance director's day to day representative and back up and must be skilled in a preferred trade. .

Key Requirements:

·       Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical labor

·       Experience with general maintenance and repair tasks

·       Comfortable working with tools and basic construction materials

·       Reliable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented

·       Ability to work independently and follow project specifications:

·       Will need strong problem-solving abilities

·       Experience with basic maintenance and repair work

Physical Demands:

·       This position requires regular lifting, climbing, and manual dexterity for various maintenance and construction-related tasks.

·       Physical stamina for manual labor
