Role Description
This role requires you to perform routine inspection and/or testing in the Coating Department. This job involves visually setting shear levels, products at different stages of finishing, and finished products. You'll also make simple measurements and ensure all records are accurate and make repairs as needed after the finishing process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect broadloom carpet during coating process (face and back) for defects and set shear for each product.
- Measure roll width, pile height, tuft binds, and record data accordingly.
- Place quality holds on defective rolls.
- Prepare samples for lab testing and 3rd party testing.
