What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance position at Encore Healthcare Services?
Encore Village of Schaumburg is currently hiring for full time Painters/Maintenance. This job would provide services for the repair and maintenance of the building and fixtures comprising the building.

- Prepare and paint walls and ceilings using primer and latex top coats per manufacturers instructions.
- Mix and prepare painting materials in accordance with manufacturers directions.
- Use stains, latex or oil based paints over primer if applicable on door and trim applications.
- Repair holes, wall cracks using drywall, tape and mud as needed.
- Install gypsum board, tape and mud wall sections and install corner bead and trim.
- Protect work and property of others, whether to be painted or not, against damage by painting or finish work.
- Be able to do emergency repairs to prevent injuries and unnecessary damage to village property.
- Be able to work efficiently with various tools needed to do maintenance work.
- Respond to all emergency situations as requested.
- Follow all safety rules and maintain work areas in a clean and orderly condition.
- Perform other Maintenance duties as assigned.
- Previous experience in healthcare, long term care, or other commercial finish construction helpful.
Salary : $28 - $30
