Encore Event & Party Express | Superior, WI

Job Type: Part-Time Full-Time
Location: 1119 Ogden Avenue, Superior, WI
Schedule: Flexible; days, evenings and weekends optional

Help Us Bring Events to Life!

Encore Event & Party Express is looking for dependable, hardworking people to join our event rental crew!

This isn't your typical general labor position. One day you may be installing a tent for a wedding, the next setting hundreds of chairs for a community event, delivering tables for a corporate gathering, or helping transform an empty space into an event venue.

Encore Event & Party Express provides event rentals and services throughout the Upper Midwest, including tents and canopies, tables, chairs, linens, pipe and drape, china, glassware, flatware, inflatables and more.

Our crew is a huge part of what we do. If you're someone who likes working with your hands, being outside, working as part of a team and seeing the finished product at the end of the day, we'd love to meet you.

What You'll Do

As a member of the Encore crew, you'll help prepare, deliver, install and remove rental equipment for events throughout the region. Responsibilities include:

  • Load and unload rental equipment from trucks and trailers
  • Set up and take down tents, tables, chairs, pipe and drape and other event rental equipment
  • Deliver and pick up rental items at event locations
  • Prepare and organize equipment for upcoming events
  • Clean and maintain rental equipment
  • Assist with tent installations and other larger event setups
  • Safely operate small equipment and machinery as trained
  • Follow event layouts and instructions from crew leaders and the Warehouse Operations Manager
  • Interact professionally with clients, venue staff and other vendors while onsite
  • Help keep the warehouse, trucks and job sites clean and organized
  • Jump in wherever needed to help the team get the job done

Who We're Looking For

You don't need years of event experience. We're looking for people who show up, work hard and can be counted on.

The ideal candidate is:

Reliable. Our clients are counting on us to have their event ready on time, which means our team needs to be able to count on each other.

Hardworking. Event setup can be physical, fast-paced work.

A team player. There are no sidelines on an event crew. Everyone pitches in.

Detail-oriented. A chair out of place or a missing table matters when you're preparing someone's wedding or major event.

Professional. You'll often be working directly at client venues and representing Encore in the community.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous general labor, warehouse, delivery, landscaping, construction or event experience is helpful, but not required
  • Ability to follow directions and work independently when needed
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Willingness to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions
  • Availability for some evenings and weekends during busy event seasons

Physical Requirements

This is an active, hands-on position. Team members must be able to stand and walk for extended periods and regularly lift, carry, push and pull rental equipment weighing up to 50 pounds. Some jobs may involve working outdoors, on uneven surfaces, and in varying weather conditions.

Why Encore?

At Encore, we don't just deliver tables, chairs and tents—we help create the spaces where people celebrate life's biggest moments.

You'll get to work on everything from weddings and private parties to festivals, corporate events and large community gatherings throughout the region. No two days are exactly the same, and you'll get to see the results of your work at the end of every setup.

Benefits include:

  • Flexible scheduling
  • Employee discount
  • Part-time and full-time opportunities
  • Variety of work and event locations
  • Hands-on training
  • Opportunity for additional hours during busy event seasons
