What are the responsibilities and job description for the DREDGE COORDINATOR- Coastal Region (Internal Applications Only) position at Encore Dredging Partners?
This position is open only to current EDP Employees.
The Dredge Coordinator will be responsible for performing a wide array of duties helping support the business including Operations, Safety and Project Management. Individuals must be willing to cover all aspects of the position. Great opportunity to get in on a ground floor position with opportunity for growth.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (This is not all-inclusive)
- Upholds the Company’s commitment to an injury-free workplace; leads and models safe work practices
- Follows all safety rules and regulations as well as all company policies and procedures
- Works safely around machinery; observes and instructs others in proper equipment use; uses/wears all required PPE
- Ensures team members are provided a safe work environment and are knowledgeable of safe work practices and policies
- Responsible for ordering supplies and running errands
- Files and submits paperwork correctly and in a timely fashion
- Enters information into various databases
- Performs record keeping reporting and information handling
- Produces a variety of written documents and materials, utilizing a wide range of office software applications
- Responds to inquiries via phone, email, letters, and faxes, assesses issues, and determines appropriate information to be provided, or to whom the inquiry should be referred
- Coordinate and prepares travel itineraries for various personnel
MINIMUM QUALIFACTIONS
- Must have reliable transportation and a clear driving record (MVR)
- Must be able to successfully pass all pre-employment screening (drug test, fit test) in addition to random drug and alcohol testing
- Multi-tasking abilities and works well under pressure
- Self-starter and highly motivated
- MS: Outlook, Excel, Word, OneDrive-ability to create MS Excel spreadsheets and data reports
- Prior knowledge of the roles and duties as required
- Excellent verbal and written communication
