Answer phone calls from insured requesting additional details surrounding Wind Mitigation Proof

Review mailed and emailed proof of wind mitigation installation

Update Policy information

Using formulas, calculate refunds and send for processing.

Other tasks assigned

1.       What are the major responsibilities of the position?

1. Assess Evidence of Windstorm Mitigation provided by customers

1. Update policies based upon the evidence

1. Document provided evidence in the appropriate imaging repository

1. Calculate any required refunds based upon date of evidence and policy data provided via spreadsheets

1. Answer phone calls from customers re Windstorm Mitigation proof based upon letters mailed by Travelers

2.       What will the contractor actually be working on

There is a special project where we need to reach out to all NY property customer to solicit information on any windstorm devices and offer a credit if warranted.  The duties above will help process these changes.

However, depending upon volume, other work may be provided to ensure that the contractor has enough responsibility to fill their allotted time, such as scanning paper documents to provide electronic backups.

1. Travelers specific technology training will be provided.

4.                   What are “nice-to-haves”?

1. An understanding of insurance and windstorm devices

1. Familiarity with Travelers Personal Insurance systems would be a bonus

1. This is a high volume team that does production support work.  Despite the volume and criticality of the work, the team is supportive of teammates and happy to assist others.

1. Insureds calling may be confused about what they need to provide and why. This may cause customers to be frustrated with the situation.

1. A quick learner who could easily identify ways to facilitate the process of updating the policies and calculating refunds.

11.               What are the working hours/day for this position?

1. M-F  8 hour days

1. Can be flexible on start and end times but need coverage from 9-4 daily with a lunch from 12-1.

Salary : $21 - $23
