Duties
- Prepare ingredients and assist with food assembly following established recipes and menu standards
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives, slicers, ovens, and mixers
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen areas, adhering to food safety management protocols
- Support menu planning by organizing ingredients and assisting with meal preparation to meet quality standards
- Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed to uphold safety standards in production
- Pack and organize orders accurately for delivery or pickup, ensuring presentation and quality are maintained
- Deliver orders promptly to customers while communicating effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate timing and special requests
Requirements
- Previous experience in dietary departments, dietary aide roles, or food service environments preferred
- Knowledge of food safety standards, including proper handling, storage, and sanitation practices
