Duties
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders with precision using barcode scanning for logistics accuracy
- Operate material handling equipment including reach trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual handling tools safely and efficiently
- Manage inventory through warehouse management systems (WMS) to track stock levels, perform stock replenishment, and conduct regular cycle counts
- Load and unload shipments using heavy equipment while adhering to safety protocols and PPE requirements
- Ensure proper packaging of products to prevent damage during transit while maintaining quality control standards
- Assist in shipping & receiving processes by verifying inbound and outbound shipments against documentation
- Maintain a clean, organized warehouse environment by stocking shelves, organizing materials, and conducting safety inspections
Experience
- Prior experience in warehouse operations or distribution centers is highly preferred
- Hands-on experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management systems (IMS)
- Proficiency in operating heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and RF scanners for barcode scanning
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to materials handling equipment operation and manual handling procedures
- Strong basic math skills for inventory counting and order accuracy calculations
- Warehouse supervisor experience or familiarity with warehouse distribution processes is a plus
- Ability to follow detailed instructions for order picking & packing, shipping & receiving, and quality control procedures
