What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dress Technician position at Encore Ballroom Couture?
Encore Ballroom Couture is seeking a talented individual to join our team in the Dress Studio. We prioritize applicants with exceptional hand-sewing skills and extensive knowledge of stretch and couture fabrics, dyes, crystals, and beading.
Dress Technician (Studio hours: 10 AM- 7 PM, Mon-Thurs). Hours are flexible.
Responsibilities Include:
- Wash, stone, bead, and sew to ensure each dress is beautifully adorned and restored, enhancing their visual appeal and longevity.
- Maintain inventory to ensure necessary supplies are available to support continuous operation and production.
- Quickly address any garment damage, utilizing advanced sewing techniques to restore items to their original condition.
- Provide personalized support during client appointments, ensuring every visitor receives attentive service and expert fashion advice.
- Assist with in-studio photoshoots for website imagery.
- Support Encore House of Crystal in alignment with business needs, including design contributions, product development, and creation.
- Participate in weekly team meetings.
Self-starters, driven, punctual, outgoing personality, reliable, dedicated, love fashion, and can work in a fast paced environment
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
