The Jobat aGlance

The Warehouse Counter Salesperson is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to walk-in and phone-in customers while accurately processing sales orders and assisting with warehouse operations. This role combines product knowledge, sales skills, and warehouse coordination to ensure customers receive timely and efficient service.

A Typical Day

• Greet customers in a professional and friendly manner at the counter or over the phone.
• Assist customers in selecting products based on their needs, specifications, and inventory availability.
• Provide accurate product information, including pricing, availability, and features.
• Process sales orders, returns, and exchanges using the company's point-of-sale (POS) system.
• Maintain organized and stocked product displays and counter area.
• Pull, pack, and stage orders for customer pickup or delivery as needed.
• Coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure timely fulfillment of orders.
• Handle forms of payment according to company policy.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, inventory, and promotions.
• Assist with receiving, stocking, inventory counts, and other warehouse duties as assigned.
• Adhere to all company safety and operational procedures.

To Land This Opportunity

• You havegreatcommunication skills & you're proficient in English (verbal and written)
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous counter sales or customer service experience preferred.
• Experience in a warehouse or distribution environment is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with POS systems.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate warehouse equipment as needed (e.g., pallet jack, forklift-if certified).
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand and move for extended periods of time in a warehouse setting.
