Hours: 9:00am-5:30pm M-F
Position Summary:
The receptionist is responsible for all aspects of meeting/greeting patients, appointment scheduling via phone and in person, cash collection and deposit. Maintains good public relations.
Position Accountabilities:
- Receives all incoming calls for the department and refers them after collecting all required patient data when appropriate to the appropriate personnel
- Makes appointments over the phone and in person
- Maintains patient confidentiality
- Cash collection and deposit
- Other clerical duties as assigned by the supervisor
- Performs other duties as assigned or requested
Job Specifications:
Minimum Education
- High School Graduate or equivalent; medical terminology
Minimum Experience
- Prior office/clerical experience
- Basic computer skills
Skills – Administrative
- Good speaking voice
- Computer skills
- Customer service focused
Working Conditions/Physical Demands
- Sitting, standing, stooping
- High volume of keyboard use
