Encompass Medical Group is seeking a Director of Clinical Services. This position will be based in our Lenexa administrative office, but will require travel between the five offices as needed. Join our team and share your skills and talents with a leading provider of healthcare services!
Essential Functions:
- Direct management of the clinic Office Managers.
- Profit and loss oversight and management.
- Monitors cash collections and billing services within the centers.
- Ensures appropriate training of medical support staff.
- Serves as the company Corporate Compliance Officer
- Serves as the company Safety Officer
- Medical center and department development and strategic planning.
- Proactively promotes practice in the business community.
- Attends meetings and disseminates information appropriately.
- Performs other duties as directed by the Chief Operating Officer.
Job Specifications:
Education and Experience:
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Health Care related field.
- 5 years of experience in health care, with at least 3 years of supervisory experience.
- Must have had experience developing budgets, ambulatory care billing and collections, practice promotion, and profit and loss accountability.
Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Work autonomously.
- Computer expertise with spreadsheets, general ledger packages, word processing and database software needed.
- Demonstrated leadership and decision-making skills, in a team setting.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to travel throughout the metropolitan area.
- Evening and extended daytime hours required, as are occasional weekends.
