The Accounting Manager provides financial and accounting analysis and managerial support to the hospital Controller and works other hospital staff to provide management, training, oversight and technical knowledge for the financial reporting and analysis process of the hospital. License or Certification: - None Education, Training and Years of Experience: - Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, or equivalent years of experience - Two years Accounting experience; healthcare experience preferred - Strong Excel, Microsoft Word and other computer skills are required Machines, Equipment Used: - General office equipment such as telephone, copy machine, fax machine, calculator, computer. Physical Requirements: - Good visual acuity and ability to communicate. - Ability to lift a minimum of 15 pounds and ability push/pull a minimum of 25 pounds. Reasonable assistance may be requested when lifting, pushing, and/or pulling are undertaken which exceeds these minimum requirements.
