Speech Pathologist Role
We are seeking a skilled Speech Pathologist to join our team at Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Northern Virginia. As a vital member of our rehabilitation team, you will play a crucial role in assisting patients in overcoming speech and communication challenges.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, assess, develop, and administer personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
- Identify issues and modify speech therapy treatment if necessary.
- Track and document patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
- Celebrate patient victories along the way.
Qualifications:
- Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
- Successful completion of SLP Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC).
- CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
- Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor's degree with field experience.
