We are seeking a skilled GIS Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting both internal and external clients by utilizing the ESRI suite of products. As a GIS Analyst, you will be responsible for data maintenance and dissemination, compiling and organizing GIS data from various sources, collecting and converting data to and from GIS systems, processing and editing client data, and analyzing and presenting data in a digestible manner for clients and team members. Additionally, you will create and document workflow procedures, develop web applications in Experience Builder, and maintain data in ArcGIS Portal.
Responsibilities:
- Data maintenance and dissemination.
- Compile and organize GIS data from various sources.
- Collect and convert data to and from GIS systems.
- Process and edit client data.
- Analyze and present data in a digestible manner for clients and team members.
- Create and document workflow procedures.
- Create web applications in Experience Builder.
- Maintain data in ArcGIS Portal.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Experience in analyzing spatial data.
- 5-6 years’ experience and knowledge with GIS databases and editing using ESRI software.
- Knowledge of FME.
- Strong knowledge of ArcGIS Portal.
- Proficient in publishing web services and configuring web applications in an ArcGIS enterprise environment.
- Strong organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to gather data from publicly available sources.
- Ability to determine best practices to complete assigned tasks in a timely manner.
- Ability to handle new tasks, timelines, and clients on a daily basis.
