What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician position at ENCOMPASS COMMUNITY SERVICES?
Pay & Schedule:
- $22–$26/hr (based on experience)
- Mon–Fri, 8:30am–5:00pm
- Rotating on-call shifts required
- Company truck & tools provided
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry repairs
- Perform all aspects of painting, drywall patching, texturing, caulking
- Perform unit turnovers (move-ins, move-outs, inspections)
- Perform routine landscaping and janitorial tasks
- Coordinate maintenance by outside contractors (plumbers, electricians, etc.)
- Other duties/tasks as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- 1 years related experience in maintenance services.
- Demonstrate ability in general construction and power tool knowledge.
- Must have and keep a good driving record. Valid Driver’s License and clean DMV report.
- Organized and a self-starter with attention to details.
- Must demonstrate good record and time keeping skills and be computer literate.
- Must demonstrate good written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects.
- Ability to be a team player, and take direction.
- Exhibit an ability to operate effectively in a culturally diverse workplace.
