Contract Facilities Manager

The Facilities Manager is an organized, flexible, and detail-oriented person who is enthusiastic for both the practical and creative elements of facilities management. Our North Carolina operations are growing rapidly, and we'll need our Facilities Manager for scaling programs, strengthening vendor relationships, and helping to keep our operations compliant and productive.

Responsibilities{{:}}

• Oversee the operation & maintenance for the NC site facilities including Office, Warehouse, GLP Labs, Utilities and GMP Clinical Manufacturing
• Operate and maintain Utility Systems (HVAC, Compressed Air, Clean Gas Cylinders, Electrical)
• Manage /Schedule Equipment PM, Calibrations for GMP and non-GMP systems
• Manage site pest control program
• Manage GMP Gowning and Lab Coat supply contracts
• Manage GMP Cleaning contract
• Develop and maintain standards for planned and preventative maintenance as well as office upkeep
• Select, supervise and manage support vendors; conduct Requests for Proposals (RFPs)
• Coordinate with cross-functional team members to develop, document and improve processes, procedures and standards
• Perform additional tasks or assist with special projects as needed
  
  

Requirements

• 5 years of facilities experience in a high-growth organization
• Ability to work well across multiple projects in a dynamic environment
• Proven ability to manage budgets and work with vendors to maintain SLAs
• Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines and projects; be highly organized with analytical skills
• A working knowledge of building systems and maintenance (HVAC, fire life safety, lighting, etc.)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• The ability to thrive in a fast-paced workplace with rapidly changing priorities
• A willingness to be self-directed, with a knack for solving problems and spotting inefficiencies
• An orientation toward rolling up your sleeves to get things done
• A driving need to deliver the best possible experience
• Prior GMP experience is a plus
• Ability to lift 50 lbs is preferable but not required
  
  

Benefits

This contract role pays between $32.00 - $37.00/hour.
