Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS system and communicate effectively with kitchen staff
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring proper food handling and sanitation standards are maintained
- Assist with bussing tables, resetting for new guests, and supporting host/hostess duties when needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standard
Experience
- Previous restaurant experience in fine dining or high-volume food service environments preferred
- Strong knowledge of POS systems including Toast experience with OpenTable is a plus
- Proven skills in guest relations, customer service, and upselling techniques
- Experience with food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations
- Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while delivering exceptional service
- Background in hospitality or food industry roles such as host/hostess or bartender is advantageous
- Basic math skills for cashiering, cash handling, and bill splitting are essential
