Encino Optometric Center is seeking an Optometric Assistant/Technician for our growing office.
Primary Job Duties
Enter and update Medical and Ophthalmic history
Perform preliminary examination and testing
Perform imaging testing
Greeting patients
Answering phone calls and scheduling appointments
Managing recalls and confirming appointments
Filing patient information
Taking payments
Ensure financial and insurance information is correct and up-to-date
Assisting in Optical duties and sales
Qualifications
High school diploma and a minimum of 2-year experience as
an Optometric/Medical/Dental Assistant/Technician
Experience with a medical office (optometry or ophthalmology) is highly preferred
Strong organizational abilities and excellent attention to details
Proficient writing and email communication
Excellent phone presence and customer service skills
Knowledge of computer systems, including (Windows, Microsoft Office)
Willingness to work in a team environment
