Position Overview:
The IT Associate is an entry-level position responsible for providing technical support, assisting with basic IT tasks, and learning the foundational aspects of IT infrastructure and systems management. This role is ideal for individuals looking to build a career in IT within a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Basic Network Monitoring:
- Monitor basic network connectivity and report issues to the IT Manager.
- Assist in setting up simple network configurations under supervision.
Technical Support:
- Respond to basic IT-related questions and assist with troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
- Provide first-level support for employees facing technical difficulties.
Hardware Setup and Maintenance:
- Assist in setting up computers, printers, and other IT equipment.
- Perform routine checks on hardware and escalate complex issues to senior staff.
Software Assistance:
- Support the installation and updating of commonly used software.
- Help maintain software inventories and track licenses.
Documentation:
- Maintain records of support requests and resolutions in a structured manner.
- Help update IT documentation and asset inventories.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is a plus.
- Strong interest in IT and a willingness to learn new technologies.
- Basic understanding of computers and Windows operating system.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).the
- No prior experience required, but internships or part-time IT roles are advantageous.
- Applicants must be 18 years of age or older to be considered for this position.
- Korean language proficiency is highly preferred
