Supervision Received: Housekeeping Managers
Responsibility & Authority
College degree or equivalent work experience. Prior Housekeeping and supervisory experience. Must have strong organizational skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks with ease. Computer skills required. Strong team member relations skills. Working knowledge of English and Spanish is helpful.
Physical Requirements
20% Sitting
80% walking, standing and bending
Lifting/Carrying up to 50 lbs.
Hearing and Manual dexterity
Distance vision 1-3 feet
Use of cleaning solutions, room spray & bug spray
Ability to work in all types of weather conditions
Ability to drive golf cart

Work Performed
- Assist in coaching and counseling employees in conjunction with Housekeeping Managers
- Help conduct inspections of all resort areas and guest rooms
- Daily control and inventory of all supplies
- Ensure lost and found items are turned in appropriately to Safety & Security
- Help with any ongoing training program
- Communicate all problems and complaints with the Housekeeping management team
- Know the proper mixture and usage of chemicals and ensure chemical room is kept neat and tidy
- Ensure equipment is maintained appropriately
- Ensure carts are returned and kept clean and tidy
- Other duties as assigned

- Help direct and motivate the staff
- Fills in for managers when necessary
