As the Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant, you’ll support the operational needs of engineering, manufacturing, accounting, supply chain, operations, and maintenance. You’ll work closely with business teams to ensure our Dynamics 365 Business Central environment drives efficiency and scalability across a multi-entity setup.

What You’ll Do…
As the Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant, you’ll support the operational needs of engineering, manufacturing, accounting, supply chain, operations, and maintenance. You’ll work closely with business teams to ensure our Dynamics 365 Business Central environment drives efficiency and scalability across a multi-entity setup.
You’ll Make An Impact By
- Supporting a multi-company Dynamics 365 Business Central environment.
- Driving functional improvements across purchasing, inventory management, and manufacturing operations.
- Implementing and customizing modules for Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Warehousing, Service Management, Inventory Costing, and Insight Works.
- Supporting developers in designing and building enhancements, customizations, and integrations.
- Configuring and deploying Business Central solutions, including system setup and data migration.
- Conducting thorough testing, troubleshooting issues, and supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Creating, maintaining and supporting reporting that help business users gain insights and make decisions.
- Creating clear documentation, including system design, development specifications, and user guides.
- Partnering with project managers, functional consultants, and end-users to deliver solutions on time and within scope.
- Providing post-implementation support and continuously identifying opportunities for process improvement.
- Bring strong hands-on expertise in Business Central across purchasing, inventory management, and manufacturing.
- Have experience with third-party solutions such as Insight Works.
- Thrive on collaboration and enjoy working closely with both technical and functional teams.
- Can translate ambiguous business needs into clear functional and technical solutions.
- Demonstrate strong organizational skills and a mindset for continuous improvement.
What you’ll need:
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (technical and functional).
- In-depth knowledge of BC development, customization, and configuration.
- Proficiency with AL language, Power BI, Power Automate, C/AL (C/SIDE), .NET, SQL SSRS, and Visual Studio Code with AL extension.
- Strong ERP knowledge across finance, sales, purchasing, inventory management, and manufacturing.
- Experience supporting deployments, integrations, and solution design.
- Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal.
- A customer-service orientation and the ability to work flexibly to meet business needs.
- Willingness to travel between our Houston area facilities (Downtown and Cypress)
- Hybrid Work Schedule. 4 days/week in the office
