Duties
- Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards, including literacy, math, physical education, and early childhood education principles.
- Create a nurturing classroom atmosphere that promotes positive behavior management and supports children's emotional and social development.
- Utilize classroom management techniques to maintain an organized, safe, and inclusive environment conducive to learning.
- Adapt teaching strategies to accommodate children with special education needs or those requiring early intervention services.
- Conduct assessments using standardized testing methods to monitor progress and tailor instruction accordingly.
- Engage in ongoing communication with parents and guardians to discuss student progress, behavior, and developmental milestones.
- Maintain detailed records of classroom activities, student achievements, and behavioral incidents to support individualized learning plans.
Skills
- Proven experience with children in educational or childcare settings, including preschool or daycare environments.
