Customer Support Staff Chicago/ New York
Summary: We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Sales Staff to join our team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for providing exceptional on-site support to customers, assisting them with their needs, and driving sales. This role requires a strong understanding of our products and services, as well as the ability to build rapport with customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Engagement: Greet customers warmly and assist them in identifying their needs. Provide knowledgeable information about products and services to help customers make informed decisions.
- Sales Support: Actively promote and sell products on-site, ensuring that sales targets are met or exceeded. Utilize effective sales techniques to drive revenue.
- Product Demonstration: Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase features and benefits, addressing any questions or concerns from customers.
- Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and referrals. Provide exceptional customer service to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining the presentation of merchandise, ensuring that products are well-stocked, organized, and visually appealing.
- Sales Reporting: Keep accurate records of sales transactions and customer interactions. Prepare reports on sales performance as required.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to ensure a cohesive approach to customer service and sales strategies.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in retail sales or a customer service role is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse customers.
- Basic understanding of sales principles and practices.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Proficiency in using point-of-sale (POS) systems and handling cash transactions.
- A friendly, energetic personality with a strong customer service focus.
- This position may require standing for extended periods and lifting moderate weights (up to 30 lbs).
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in marketing or related fields is a plus.
