JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary/Objective
The Plant Manager position directs and manages all plant operations at the Central City, KY Facility. Overall responsibilities include leadership and setting an example in production, maintenance, quality, safety, our “We Are One” culture, and other production-related activities.
Essential Functions
- Direct and manage plant operations for production, maintenance, quality, shipping and receiving.
- Coordinate plant activities through planning to insure the total manufacturing objectives are accomplished in a timely, safe, and cost-effective manner, ensuring optimal plant operations.
- Ensures we live up to our “We put people’s safety and integrity first” by properly training and monitory adherence to all laws and regulations, safety, compliance and procedures.
- Ensures our “We Are One” culture is embraced, modeled, and taught.
- Assists in the development of strategic plans for operational activity.
- Ensure that the preventative maintenance program is managed and documented.
- Establish and monitor overall plant performance for production and quality standards.
- Leadership skills provide the ability to solve problems and make decisions both individually and in a team environment.
- Incorporates shop floor organization and plant cleanliness among plant personnel.
- Process production records and distribution through our ERP program.

Education and Qualifications:
· Production experience, maintaining QC records and documentation.
· ATF understanding, DOT experience.

Supervisory Responsibility
This position manages all employees of the plant and is responsible for the performance of the employees.
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration.
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch and stand for several hours. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., 40 hours per week.
Travel
Travel is primarily local during the business day, although overnight travel may be expected periodically.
Required Education and Experience
Three years’ Industry experience in Mining or Manufacturing. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications
Must pass ATF clearance requirements and DOT drug test.
Pay: $60,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
