Your Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain data ingestion and integration pipelines between cloud applications using AWS services, Snowflake, and IICS.
- Implement and support app to app integrations, APIs, and cloud data movement patterns across internal and external systems.
- Partner with architects, data engineers, and application owners to translate functional needs into scalable integration solutions.
- Build and maintain reusable integration frameworks, data movement templates, and operational runbooks.
- Ensure integration pipelines meet enterprise standards for data quality, security, reliability, and performance.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize pipelines to identify and resolve issues proactively.
- Contribute to continuous improvement, including code reviews, design reviews, and enhancing team development standards.
- Document integration flows, data mappings, and operational dependencies for long term maintainability.
- Support data migration, cloud modernization, and cross platform integration initiatives.
- Stay current with new technologies and quickly learn new tools required to support emerging integration patterns.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
- 5 years of hands on experience with cloud data integration or data engineering.
- 5 experience building integrations using AWS services (Lambda, S3, API Gateway, SNS/SQS, EventBridge, DMS, Glue, RDS, Dynamo DB, Step Functions).
- 5 experience with IICS (Cloud Data Integration, Cloud Application Integration, mappings, tasks).
- 5 years hands on experience with CI/CD: CodeBuild/CodePipeline or GitHub Actions/GitLab.
- Experience developing data ingestion and transformation pipelines using Snowflake (stages, tasks, streams, procedures).
- Strong SQL skills and familiarity with data ingestion, data preparation, and data integration patterns.
- Ability to analyze complex data flows and integration points with high attention to detail.
- Clear communication, collaborative mindset, and a bias to automate & document.
- Experience integrating SaaS platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Workday, ServiceNow, enterprise LOS systems).
- Experience adhering to and implementing data security and governance best practices in a highly regulated environment (encryption, RBAC, auditing, regulatory standards – HIPAA, SOC2, etc).
