· Install,
repair, and maintain heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration
systems.
· Perform
regular preventative maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance.
· Diagnose
mechanical and electrical issues and implement effective solutions.
· Interpret
and work from blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
· Comply with
industry standards and safety regulations, including SANS and OHS regulations.
· Test HVAC
systems for functionality, performance, and safety.
· Monitor and
maintain refrigeration systems and equipment.
· Keep
detailed records of work performed, including maintenance logs and service
reports.
· Respond to
emergency repair calls promptly and effectively.
· Collaborate
with clients and other team members to assess HVAC needs and provide
appropriate recommendations.
· Ensure that
tools and equipment are maintained in good working condition.
Requirements
· Grade
12
· National Diploma in HVAC, Electrical
Engineering, or relevant technical qualification preferred or relevant
experience
· Minimum of 3 years of experience in HVAC
installation, maintenance, and repair.
· A valid Code 08 driver’s license
· Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems,
including installation, troubleshooting, and repair.
