We are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer & Machine Operator to
program, set up, and operate C-Tek CNC milling and Okuma lathe machines.
The successful candidate will be responsible for manufacturing precision
stainless steel and mild steel components according to engineering drawings and
production specifications.
Responsibilities
- Program,
set up, and operate Okuma lathe machines.
- Program, set up and operate C-Tek milling machines.
- Read
and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Manufacture
precision components from stainless steel and mild steel.
- Select
tooling, set machine parameters, and perform machine setups.
- Conduct
quality inspections and ensure components meet required tolerances.
- Troubleshoot
machining and programming issues to maintain production efficiency.
- Adhere
to safety, quality, and housekeeping standards.
Requirements
- Proven
experience programming and operating C-Tek CNC milling and Okuma lathe machines.
- Strong
knowledge of CNC machining processes.
- Ability
to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Experience
working with stainless steel and mild steel.
- Proficient
in using precision measuring instruments.
- Strong
problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Relevant
trade qualification in Machining, Toolmaking, Fitting & Turning, or
Mechanical Engineering.
