Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Sr. Quality Control Lead with at least 10 years of experience in quality assurance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting finished goods, tracking warehouse inventory, picking parts, and various other tasks as assigned by the VP of Quality. The candidate will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with established quality procedures.
This role is crucial in maintaining the high standards of our products and optimizing our warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspection of Finished Goods: Conduct thorough inspections of finished products to ensure they meet quality specifications and standards before distribution.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels in the warehouse, conducting regular counts and audits to prevent discrepancies and alerting purchasing to low levels in a timely manner.
- Parts Picking: Efficiently pick parts and materials as required for production or shipment, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in order fulfillment.
- Quality Procedures Compliance: Follow and enforce company quality procedures and protocols to ensure consistent product quality and compliance with industry regulations.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed records of inspections, inventory counts, and quality audits, providing reports as necessary to management.
- Collaboration: Work closely with production and warehouse teams to address quality issues, implement corrective actions, and promote a culture of quality.
- Training and Mentorship: Provide guidance and training to junior staff on quality standards and best practices to foster a knowledgeable workforce.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in quality processes and inventory management, contributing to ongoing operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Education: Associates degree or a minimum of 10 years in quality assurance, inspection, or inventory management, preferably in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
- Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Proficient in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
