Director of First Impressions
Overview: We are a thriving dance studio located in Frederick, Colorado. Our studio is dedicated to providing exceptional dance education and fostering a love for dance among our students. With a passionate team and a commitment to excellence, we strive to create a positive and inspiring environment for dancers of all ages and skill levels.
Position: Director of First Impressions (DOFI)
Location: Frederick, Colorado
Responsibilities: As a DOFI at our dance studio, you will be responsible for being an ambassador of the studio. Along with the owner, you should embody the culture of the studio so that each student and parent that comes into the studio will feel a part of the community! This person should communicate effectively, and understand and portray the important messaging that the owner wants everyone to know.
Your contributions will play a key role in ensuring the success and growth of our studio. We measure success in this role by retention rates of current clients, the growth of new clientele, and the overall experience of our customers.
Responsibilities of the role will include (but not be limited to):
- Stewardship- Every employee’s #1 responsibility is stewardship to En Face Studios
- To conduct yourself so that supervisors and coworkers can depend on your work
- To maintain a safe environment at all times for all concerned
- To build fierce loyalty among current students and to drive new students to the studio
- To be flexible in your schedule and willing to help coworkers
- To learn continuously and move steadily and consistently toward “expert status” in your job duties
- To help your supervisors and peers fulfill their responsibilities and to conduct yourself in a manner that makes their jobs enjoyable and rewarding
- Clock in and out each day
- Provide HR with all relevant documents in a timely manner
- Be able to navigate our software system with confidence
- CC pertinent staff on information emails
- Make sure the front desk is stocked with all informational flyers pertaining to that time of year
- Daily interactions with customers and answering questions
- Giving tours of the facility
- Registering new students
- Answering phones
- Music system troubleshooting
- Keeping the lobby tidy & professional
- Daily studio checks (for supplies and Lost and Found) and closing duties
Requirements: To excel in this role, we are seeking individuals who align with our studio's values and possess the following qualifications:

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and fellow staff members.
- Comfortable learning and navigating online software
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
