Position Summary: The Landfill Laborer performs manual labor to support the daily operations of a landfill facility in Bad Axe, MI. This role is critical to ensuring safe, compliant, and environmentally responsible waste disposal.
Benefits and Compensation:
- Starting pay of $16.40 to $18.00 per hour.

Responsibilities:
- Perform general labor duties such as litter control, debris removal, and site clean-up.
- Spread and compact refuse and cover materials using hand tools and light equipment.
- Assist with installation and maintenance of fences, drainage systems, and signage.
- Maintain cleanliness of roadways and work areas.
- Operate basic equipment such as water trucks, compactors, or loaders under supervision.
- Follow all company safety procedures and environmental regulations.
Requirements:
- Prior labor, construction, or outdoor work experience is a plus.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and perform physical labor.
