Mechanical Engineer (On-Site – Hobart, WI / Green Bay Area)
Starting Salary: Based on experience
EMT International is seeking a motivated and innovative Mechanical Engineer to join our growing engineering team. This is a hands-on role where you’ll design and develop custom machinery used in digital printing and packaging environments.
What You’ll Do
- Design and develop mechanical components and systems for custom finishing equipment
- Create detailed 3D CAD models and 2D drawings using Inventor and/or SolidWorks
- Perform engineering calculations, tolerance stack-ups, and basic stress analysis to ensure performance and manufacturability
- Partner cross-functionally with manufacturing, assembly, and service teams to support builds and resolve issues
- Troubleshoot mechanical challenges in both production and field applications, identifying root causes and implementing solutions
- Participate in design reviews and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance performance, reliability, and cost efficiency
- Develop and maintain engineering documentation including BOMs, technical specifications, and test reports

Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Experience with 3D CAD modeling (Inventor preferred or SolidWorks)
- Strong understanding of mechanical design fundamentals
Preferred:
- 3–5 years of mechanical engineering or machine design experience
- Experience with GD&T, FEA, and tolerance analysis
- Familiarity with manufacturing environments and machining processes
