Work Environment: This job operates in light manufacturing environment with exposure to equipment, tools and various noise levels.
Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand up to 4 hours; walk; hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Employees in this role must be able to lift up to 40 pounds unassisted.
EMSAR is looking for a Warehouse Associate I. The Warehouse Associate I is responsible for performing shipping/receiving/stocking and reconciliation duties.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Under direct supervision, participates in the shipping, receiving, reconciliation and storing of products.
- Under direct supervision, inspects shipments for damage and conformity to return authorization or packing slips; relay discrepancies to Supervisor or Warehouse Associate III.
- Under direct supervision, performs pick/pack/ship functions in the warehouse
- Perform Inventory cycle count and functions as required.
- Operate a variety of warehouse equipment including pallet jacks, dollies; operate a computer and assigned software to input data.
- Maintain the warehouse in a clean, orderly, safe and secure condition;
- Perform related duties as assigned

Qualifications
DISCUSSION OF QUALIFICATIONS
- Requires High School diploma or GED
- 0 to 2 years experience such as exposure to warehousing systems including but not limited to inventory control, shipping, receiving and/or processing of returns.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
- Basic skill in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Visual acuity to read instructions, operate machines, and visually inspect equipment
- Ability to follow detailed and defined work processes and work instructions
- Good oral and written communication
