What are the responsibilities and job description for the Laundry Supervisor position at EMS, LLC?
SUMMARY
Responsible for the collection, washing, drying, folding and distribution of residents/patients clothes and linen.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
· Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold and return residents/patients clothes.
· Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold and return to designated areas all facility linens.
· Label all resident/patients clothes.
· Maintain clean and neat work area.
· Conforms to all safety and fire regulations.
· Reports to Director of Environmental Services or Facility Director all defective or damaged fixtures and properties.
· Ensures safe operation and prescribed care of machinery (maintaining equipment in good operable condition to include cleaning lint traps) and judicious use of all detergents.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
