Account Manager
Seeking an Account Manager who is excited to play an integral part of the Sales Team in an established and growing company providing Software as a Service to First Responders. This role will contribute to the team by building relationships and growing existing clients.

The ideal candidate has excellent relationship building, communication, and problem-solving skills, with proven experience selling Software as a Service. Individuals who like to take initiative, have a willingness to learn and exhibit a positive attitude will do well in this role.
As a member of our sales team, you will have responsibility for a specified sales territory, which may include domestic and international locations. The main objective of this role is to grow current accounts by expanding relationships with contacts, learning about their business, and identifying areas for growth. This is not a management position; it is an individual contributor position in our sales organization in our Austell, GA office.
Job Description:
The Account Manager will be responsible for working with existing clients on the procurement of software and equipment by providing product demonstrations, quotations and executed agreements for service. They will explore the account health of customers to gain an understanding of their challenges and future goals to identify opportunities for additional training, licenses, or modules.
This role will report to the Regional Account Management Director in your assigned territory and will require an excellent understanding of both the Operative IQ system as well as the EMS and Fire industry to understand the needs and internal dynamics of this type of organization. Individuals in this role must possess a high level of initiative, business acumen and ability to clearly articulate the value of Operative IQ solutions. The Account Manager should approach growing existing business with a positive yet persistent attitude, seeking to provide customers a better future state.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and nurture relationships through outstanding customer service with multiple client stakeholders in your territory to facilitate long-term relationships with clients
- Demonstrate a full understanding of the Operative IQ solutions and products
- Deliver software product demonstrations through Microsoft Teams webinars and occasional onsite client presentations
- Collaborate with New Account Executives in later stages of the sales cycle for prospective clients
- Coordinate prospect and sales activities with distribution partners representing accounts within the territory
- Achieve performance objectives, sales forecasts, and territory budget
- Work with team members on methods to better serve our clients as well as improvements to our software services to meet client needs and use cases
- Represent the company and Operative IQ brand at industry trade shows
- Collaborate with the Training team to ensure the successful implementation of solutions
- Document account management activities in our Salesforce CRM tool
- Be a positive, productive member of the sales team and overall company
- Up to 25% travel within the assigned territory which could include both domestic and international locations

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum of 2 - 3 years Software Sales or Direct Sales experience
- Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, presentation)
- Skilled presenter in delivering customized product demonstrations, in person and online
- Exemplary follow up skills
- Knowledge of the First Responder (Fire, EMS, Law Enforcement) industry a plus
- Knowledge of operations management software and how it applies to small businesses
- Experience in being a member of a Sales Team
- Experience with Salesforce CRM, Microsoft Teams preferred
