Job Description
The Shipping Clerk is responsible for preparing, packaging, and shipping products accurately while maintaining inventory records and quality controls. This role supports daily shipping operations and ensures timely, damage-free delivery.
What You Will Do:
- Prepare and ship products accurately
- Verify parts, quantities, and documentation
- Package products to prevent damage
- Create packing lists, shipping labels, and carrier documentation
- Update inventory records in the MRP system
- Coordinate shipments using UPS and FedEx systems
What You Will Bring:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous receiving experience is helpful but not required.
- Ability to regularly lift up to 40 pounds.
- Strong mathematical skills, including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
What You Will Experience:
Work is generally performed in a warehouse/production environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to:
- Stand for long periods of time.
- Wear personal protective equipment while working (provided) – this might include, and is not limited to facemask, gloves, safety glasses.
- Perform repetitive wrist, hand and/or finger movement .
- Feel the attributes of objects, grasp, push, and reach with arms or hands.
- Stand and work over a table.
- Reach with arms or hands, including overhead.
- Regularly lift up to 40 pounds, lift and carry varying objects which can weigh up to 60 pounds throughout the day.
